White text reading "Shelf Help: a Mental Health Book Club, by Not Alone Notes" on a blue background with books and swirls

Not Alone Notes is starting a book club!

For many people, OCD latches onto and affects their ability to read, especially when for fun. The goal of this book club can be about facing down reading OCD, but more so it is about building a community among readers with OCD.

The plan is to meet somewhere around 2-4 times a year. It’s a low pressure book club. Even if you haven’t finished the book, you are welcome!

We will be reading various titles, sometimes specific to OCD, but not always. Books can range from novels to memoirs to poetry and more!

Title Suggestions

Have suggestions for books we should read as part of Shelf Help? Email NotAloneNotes@gmail.com.

We suggest that the book is under 400 pages. It can be fiction or nonfiction, as long as it is mental health related. The book must also be readily available in both print and audio formats.
