This past Wednesday, Not Alone Notes turned eight-years-old! Our “birthday” is the anniversary of when the first Not Alone Note was mailed out into the world.
It’s hard to believe that it’s already been eight years, but we are so proud of the work we’ve done in that time.
If you follow us on social media, you may have seen that in the days leading up to our birthday, we did a countdown of eight big moments.
Here they are listed:
8. Sending our 100th note (December 2, 2017)
7. Expanding our team of volunteers (February 9, 2020)
6. Publishing our first exposure coloring book (May 28, 2020)
5. Grand Marshalls and walking at Boston OCD Walk 2023 (June 3, 2023)
4. Morgan and Molly meeting for the first time (July 26, 2018)
3. Sending out the first round of Not Alone Totes (January 25, 2021)
2. Receiving the Hero Award at the 2025 Annual OCD Conference (July 12, 2025)
1. Officially incorporating as a nonprofit (August 30, 2020)
Here’s to eight more years of hope, advocacy, and mail!
Morgan
