Happy Holidays from Not Alone Notes!

Thank you to everyone who mailed in Holiday Messages of Hope! Molly went to the International OCD Foundation Office to help sort through the whopping 580 cards that came in!! They are being delivered to those in residential OCD treatment over the holidays this year as we speak.

In other news, does anyone else get extra stressed over the holiday season? If so, you are certainly not alone. We asked our Instagram followers what helps them with this added anxiety, and here are some of the responses

  • Grounding exercises, like deep breathing
  • Breaking the holidays into a series of small, manageable events, instead of one huge one
  • Leaving the party for a few minutes when I get overwhelmed
  • Remembering to actually take time to rest and fuel my body with regular meals
  • Reading a good book to get a way for a while
  • Asking for help
